Star Wars [22 May 2005|01:24am]
[ mood | tired ]

Well....nothing exciting has happened yet except that on Wednesday night my friends Megan, Ashley, and Katie went to go see Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith.  Everything was going fine and all until we got there.  We arrived at the Destin Commons at 7 30, yes 7 30 and the movie didn't start until 12 01 a.m. Thursday moring; seating for the movie didn't even begin until 10 00, but that was okay because we didn't mind waiting.  But Katie had ordered her tickets online at Movietickets.com and that's fine and all because I did too but Katie had yet to pick her tickets up; the rest of us already had.  So, we go up there and Katie presents the teller with the credit card she used to purchice (Excuse my awful spelling) the tickets online and the tickets don't show up.  (she had ordered five on mistake)  And so the people ask her if this is the right credit card and she said it was the only credit card but the movie people and even the manager could do nothing for her.  So Katie went home at 10 00 when they opened the doors to seating.  But with the exception with that little mishap everything was totally awesome!!!!!  The movie was great and the excitement everyone had was cool.  The news peoples came in and filmed us.  There were fans dressed up and having light saber fights and it was just a really fun time!!  So if you haven't seen the movie yet you really should!!!!  Well thats all for now, plus it's kinda late......

going to movies today.... [13 May 2005|01:37pm]
[ mood | annoyed ]

hey....I am going to see Monster in Law with my dad today.  For some reason my dad likes chick flicks but that's okay since my mum is always outta town and she doesn't really like going to the movies anyway.  My friend Megan totally either forgot that we were supposed to go to lunch and then go see Kicking and Screaming, or she doesn't want to, oh well.  But now it's 1 38 and I haven't eaten lunch and I'm hungry, oh well again.  Seeing Monster in Law is fine with me.  Besides it's showing at a theater called the Rave and the Rave has the best popcorn ever!!!!  So once I see Monster in Law I will write back to say how it was.   So that's all for now!!!

YAY [11 Jan 2005|08:04pm]
[ mood | cheerful ]

wow i thought i was the only one TOTALLY OBSESSED with watching movies. the most recent movies i've seen are Phantom of the Opera and Flight of the Phoenix.

Phantom was WONDERFUL. it was long, but i love musicals and therefore i loved it. also, i didn't know any background story and i still got it. thouroughly entertaining.

Phoenix was okay. i saw it while on a date, but the parts i did see were very predictable [lol]. the acting was pretty good and it was, at least, fun to watch.

i can't make icons. sad, but i will learn !

One of the Funniest Movies I've ever Seen [12 Dec 2004|07:51pm]
A while back I went out with a couple friends of mine to see Shaun of the Dead, and I'm highly surprised at myself that I didn't pee in my pants it was so hilarious! Word of Advice? I heard it comes out to DVD sometime next month so if you want to see a good spoof of Dawn of the Dead, which is another wonderful movie, I'd say get it... or atleast rent it to see if you want a copy of your own.

Hey, question... has anyone seen the previews for that movie where 7 children disappeared and years later a family moves into the house and finds out what happens? I forgot the name... but it sounds good... I'm a comedy/horror film junkie.

I saw Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban last night. I had seen it in theaters the day it came out, but this community wasnt around back then, so I am just putting some thoughts on here. I like Harry Potter a LOT!, but I am disapointed by the movies. The first movie was well done, considering that they can't put every single word from the book into the movie. And same with the second one. But then there was a new director. And he changed some things that i didnt like. One thing that he changed was some sets. i didnt like the new sets really. And the worst thing was the new dumbledore. I know the other one died. But seriously COULD YOU DO A WORSE JOB CASTING????...I DONT THINK SO!!!...he wasnt serious at all. I heard that Ian Mckellan (the guy who played Gandalf in Lord of the Rings) was considering the part but he didnt take it. Bad choice Ian. YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN THE BEST DUMBLEDORE EVER!!!!...anyway the movie is a little disapointed but it still comes highly recommended from me and i still find it very enjoyable to watch.
a little bit of a spoiler for the fourth of the harry potter seriesCollapse )

I just saw Finding Neverland. It was pretty good. You cant go wrong with Johhny Depp. He played his part so well. It was a little bit of a chick flick, in that a lot of it made some people cry. However, a lot of it was very funny and "magical". It was based on Peter Pan obviously so it had to be magical. Its very inspiring though. It was kind of that the characters were imagining that they were going to Neverland, but they weren't really. If you are looking for the real Peter Pan story, then dont go see this. The movie is about the guy who wrote Peter Pan and how he was inspired to do so. I made an icon before of Finding Neverland....but its old....so you might have seen it already. It is a picture of Kate Winslet.
